Important Information Prior to Calling

For fastest service, please have the following handy when you contact technical support:

  1. Your product serial number.
    • The product serial number can be found on the back of your CD jewel case.
    • The product serial number can be found by clicking on Help/About...
  2. The product version number.
    • The product for windows version number can be found by clicking on Help/About...
    • The S-PLUS for UNIX version number can be found by typing: Splus VERSION from a UNIX prompt, or version from the S-PLUS prompt.
  3. The type and version number of the operating system you are using.
  4. If you are getting error messages, have the exact error messages, and the commands which generated them.
