Getting Started

Please read the Release Notes for S+NuOPT 1.6. This includes information about new features in this release and selected improvements.

S+NuOPT 1.6 features improvements over the previous release of S+NuOPT in the following areas:

• Faster MIP (Mixed Integer Linea/Quadratic Programming)
• Improved reporting of Mixed Integer Programming (MIP).
• Faster Active Set method ("asqp")
• Sequential Quadratic Programming

A PDF version of the NuOPT for S-PLUS Quick Tour 1.6 is available in the S+NuOPT installation folder as the file quicktour.PDF. The corresponding code is available in the file quicktour-code.ssc.
